Europe is often seen as post-Christian, where cathedrals stand as museums more than mission fields. Lee and Ela Nelson see it differently. They see a continent hungry for something real, and a new generation ready to lead if someone will invest in them.

Lee and Ela are joining Love Shows Up as missionaries with a clear calling: to raise up multiplying leaders throughout continental Europe who will proclaim the Gospel and make disciples who make disciples. Their work isn't about filling seats or running programs. It's about identifying and equipping local believers who can plant churches, lead disciple-making movements, and carry the Gospel forward long after the Nelsons have poured into them.

Their focus rests on three connected priorities:

• Church Planting — establishing new, reproducible communities of faith in places where they're needed most.
• Disciple-Making Movements — helping ordinary believers become disciple-makers themselves, so growth multiplies rather than depends on any one leader.
• Leadership Training — investing directly in emerging European leaders, giving them the tools and confidence to take ownership of the work in their own communities and culture.

This is how lasting movements are built, not imported from the outside, but raised up from within. Lee and Ela are showing up to walk alongside a new generation of European believers, equipping them to lead the way forward.
